In my travels to many places across the Earth, I experienced the privilege to meet many women from young adults to senior adults.  Many have become great friends over time in person or online. With some, love has been shared from the Philippines, Japan, Korea, and India in Asia; to Canada, the United Kingdom, Greece, France,  the U.S. in the west; and South Africa.

Many have told me their stories of love and relationship, their agonies and their ecstasies. Getting What You Want - Excerpt from Fishes of Men, Chapter Three

If good looks and good sex is all, you have going for yourself as your primary bait, it will prove entertaining in the short term but not enough to go home to meet mama. ~Whistle Britches

If you want a rich, handsome, well-educated, powerful fish and you are neither; what would make them want you?  What is in it for them to be the fish you catch? 

Building relationships that work requires intentional and intense desire, information, a strategic plan, and commitment. The goal of all relationships, spoken or unspoken, is about getting what we want from other people willing to give it to us.

The path to getting what we want is in making the right deal with the right person who possesses what we want. For relationships to be functional, activity mutually agreed to must hold the potential to provide participants the experience of getting what each wants.

Your fish must believe it is in his best interests not just to be with you in the now but also to be with you for the long haul.  Your fish has to believe his conditions are better with you than without you.  It is your task to make sure you keep your fish knowing that. 

Successfully accomplish this by being secure in your own maturity and development.  Give to your fish from all of yourself what your fish wants and believes he needs to feel good about who he is and desires to be and become. 

Offer yourself in such a way that he cannot think of himself without being thankful for all you give him of yourself.  When you do, he will be pleased to be your fish every night when he goes to sleep and every morning when he wakes up.  You will have touched the fish you caught at the soul level.
